Description
Golden, flaky crescent rolls filled with gooey Nutella and optionally topped with powdered sugar and hazelnuts. This easy 5-ingredient dessert is perfect for parties, brunches, or a quick sweet treat.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 package (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 1/2 cup Nutella (or other chocolate hazelnut spread)
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 2 tablespoons powdered sugar (for dusting, optional)
- 2 tablespoons chopped hazelnuts (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
- Unroll crescent dough onto a clean surface and separate into triangles.
- Spread about 1 tablespoon Nutella on each triangle, leaving a small border.
- Sprinkle chopped hazelnuts over Nutella if using.
- Roll up each triangle from the wide end toward the tip and place tip-side down on the baking sheet.
- Brush tops with melted butter.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, until golden brown and puffed.
- Let rolls cool on the pan for 3-5 minutes.
- Dust with powdered sugar using a small sieve.
- Serve warm, optionally garnished with extra hazelnuts.
Notes
Don’t overfill with Nutella to avoid leaks. Use parchment paper for easy cleanup. For gluten-free or vegan options, substitute dough and spread accordingly. Rolls can be made ahead and refrigerated before baking. Reheat leftovers in the microwave for 10 seconds to restore gooeyness.
