Peanut Butter Cheesecake Dip

  • Author: Rachel Summers
  • Total Time: 10 minutes
  • Yield: 8 servings 1x

Description

This creamy, sweet peanut butter cheesecake dip is a quick and easy party snack that combines the rich flavors of peanut butter and cheesecake. Perfect for gatherings, movie nights, or a fun treat for kids and adults alike.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 3/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 23 tablespoons milk (dairy or plant-based)
  • Pinch of salt
  • Optional: 2–3 tablespoons mini chocolate chips
  • Optional: 2 tablespoons crushed peanuts
  • Optional: 1 tablespoon honey (for drizzling)
  • Optional: Graham crackers, pretzels, apple slices, strawberries, bananas, celery sticks (for dipping)

Instructions

  1. Remove cream cheese from the fridge and let it sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes to soften. (Microwave for 10–15 seconds if needed, but do not melt.)
  2. Measure all ingredients: cream cheese, peanut butter, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, milk, and salt.
  3. In a mixing bowl, add softened cream cheese and peanut butter. Beat on medium speed for about 2 minutes until smooth and creamy. Scrape down the sides as needed.
  4. Add powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Beat again on low, then medium speed for 1 minute until fluffy and light.
  5. Add 2 tablespoons milk and mix briefly. If the dip is too thick, add another tablespoon of milk. The texture should be creamy and scoopable.
  6. Fold in mini chocolate chips or chopped peanuts if desired.
  7. Taste and adjust sweetness or peanut butter flavor as needed. Optionally, add a dash of cinnamon.
  8. Transfer dip to a serving bowl. Top with extra chocolate chips, a drizzle of honey, or crushed peanuts for garnish.
  9. Serve immediately with dippers like graham crackers, apple slices, pretzels, or celery sticks. If prepping ahead, cover and refrigerate for up to 2 hours before serving.

Notes

For best texture, use full-fat cream cheese and creamy peanut butter. Let the dip chill for 30 minutes for extra fluffiness. Adjust sweetness and consistency to taste. The dip is naturally gluten-free; just choose gluten-free dippers. For dairy-free or nut-free adaptations, use plant-based cream cheese and sunflower seed butter. Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days; stir before serving.
