Triple Berry Lemonade

  • Author: Rachel Summers
  • Total Time: 45 minutes
  • Yield: 6 servings 1x

Description

This triple berry lemonade is a refreshing drink that combines the sweetness of strawberries, tartness of raspberries, and depth of blueberries, perfect for hot summer days.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 1 cup fresh raspberries
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • 1 cup fresh lemon juice (about 46 lemons, depending on size)
  • 1 cup granulated sugar (adjust to taste)
  • 4 cups cold water
  • Ice cubes for serving

Instructions

  1. Start by preparing your berries. Rinse the strawberries, raspberries, and blueberries under cold water. Hull and slice the strawberries.
  2. In a blender, add the sliced strawberries, raspberries, and blueberries. Blend until smooth, about 30 seconds to 1 minute.
  3. If you prefer a smoother lemonade, pour the blended berry mixture through a fine mesh strainer into a large pitcher, pressing with a spatula to extract as much juice as possible. If you don’t mind a bit of pulp, you can skip this step!
  4. Next, squeeze your lemons to get 1 cup of fresh lemon juice. You can use a juicer or do it by hand—just be sure to remove any seeds.
  5. Add the lemon juice and sugar to the pitcher with the berry juice. Stir well until the sugar is completely dissolved.
  6. Pour in the 4 cups of cold water and mix until well combined. Taste and adjust the sweetness by adding more sugar if desired.
  7. Chill the lemonade in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes to an hour, or serve immediately over ice.
  8. When ready to serve, fill a glass with ice and pour the chilled triple berry lemonade over it. Garnish with lemon slices or additional berries if you like!

Notes

Use fresh ingredients for the best flavor. Adjust sweetness to taste.
